Meet Jen.

Hi, I’m Jen Bengel, the creator behind the Out of This World Literacy™️ curriculum. I've been an educator for 21 years and love it!

I specialize in designing literacy resources for older students who need continued support with foundational reading skills.

My materials and trainings are thoughtfully created to be age-appropriate, respectful, and engaging—never babyish.

My goal is to empower striving readers by helping them build confidence, strengthen their skills, and experience success without shame.

I believe every learner deserves the dignity of materials and instruction that honor where they are and support where they’re going.

  • Teachers receive full access to all my notes to revisit as needed.

$950/half day plus travel expenses

Full Day PD

  • 3-4 hours of engaging and practical PD—I’ll be right there leading the way!
  • 2 Q/A Sessions of focused Q&A designed around your teacher's real questions.
  • Plenty of free, printable resources for teachers to keep and use for good!
  • Teachers receive full access to all my notes to revisit as needed.

$1,450/day plus travel expenses
